NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Certificates

NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Certificates (NGACs) target the emission of greenhouse gas associates with production and use of electricity through the establishment of a state wide greenhouse gas reduction target.

This obligation is imposed on retailers of NSW electricity and certain other parties, based on their share of the electricity market.
